Exceptional Whiting & Davis Art Deco enameled mesh purse from the 1920s in a beautiful pattern of pink, green, brown, orange, and ecru. It is 4" wide x 6" long and widens at the bottom.

The gold tone frame has a deco pattern on it making this the perfect addition to a "flapper" costume or an elegant beaded evening gown. Or the set of Downton Abbey! What makes this unusual is the gold frame and 12" chain- they usually come in silver.

The lining is beige silk. The only flaw is a small lipstick stain inside on the lining, as shown. It is otherwise in excellent condition. It was purchased from the original owner. ( the photo is not fuzzy, it is the pattern of the mesh)
