It all started when my husband and I got fed up cutting bite-size pieces at our favorite pizza place using their dinky plastic forks. We started putting kitchen shears in our diaper bag. We were cutting up pizza, chicken nuggets, grilled cheese, and quesadillas like real pros. Friends and strangers would marvel and say, "You have food scissors in your diaper bag?? That's genius!" It seemed wrong not to share this parenting win with the rest of the world, so we decided to make more portable scissors that include a sheath!
